VERY GOOD

We like this dishwasher because it is quite affordable and it doesn't require pre-rinsing the dishes. Nevertheless, the interior could have been better organized as to fit different types of dishes.

If you’re tired of pre-rinsing your heavily soiled dishes before loading them in the dishwasher, you should now that there are solutions for this problem. The Samsung DW80F800UWS Top Control Dishwasher with Stainless Steel Tub features an innovative storm wash system that can wash even the dirtiest dishes. Moreover, this is but one of the many features that give this dishwasher a great value. Let’s see what more it has to offer!

Specifications

Costing only $799.00, this dishwasher has a nice stainless steel finish. The door handle is a little old-fashioned, but other than that, the design is rather nice. It has a hidden control panel with an ice blue display color and an electronic touch sensor. It also has a very low noise level of only 46 dBa. Samsung DW80F800UWS has a 15 place setting capacity and it is NSF certified and Energy Star rated, consuming about 265 Kwh/year. It has 6 wash cycles: a normal cycle, a heavy cycle, a delicate china/gentle cycle, a quick plus cycle, a smart auto wash cycle and a pots and pans cycle. Moreover, it also has 4 wash options: a delay start option, a power washing option, an antibacterial option and a half-load option. The dishwasher has a flexible design which allows you to place large or weirdly shaped dishes on the top rack. It has two main racks, both adjustable. The lower rack even has removable tines, though tines that could be completely folded down would have been easier to use than the removable tines. The lower rack also has a 2-piece silverware basket. Given the size of this dishwasher, we would have also liked to see a flexible third rack or at least a delicate glass rack.

Features

The heavy-duty wash system makes the pre-rinsing of the dishes optional. This wash system features rotating spray jets that can clean your dishes from every possible angle. For optimal results, the heavily soiled dishes should be placed above the StormWash wheel found on the bottom rack. Despite the use of powerful water jets, this dishwasher only uses 4 gallons of water per cycle. The door has a special insulation which minimizes the operating noise, making this dishwasher one of the quietest models in its class. It has plenty of useful features such as child lock button, start& pause button, cancel& drain button, digital leakage sensor, water fill sensor, low-level water sensor, overflow sensor, audible end-of-the-cycle signal, turbidity clean sensor, last cycle memory and a self-cleaning filter system.

Dimensions

This dishwasher with stainless steel tub weighs 108 lb., it is 23 7/8″ wide, 24 3/4″ deep and it has an adjustable height of 33 7/8″ – 35 7/8″.

Conclusion

Samsung dishwashers tend to be very durable, but you don’t have to take are word for it. Rest assured, knowing that your investment is protected by a 1 year warranty for parts and labor, a 5 year warranty for the circuit board and interior racking, and a lifetime warranty for the stainless steel tub and lining. In a nutshell, this is a durable dishwasher which gets the job done without increasing your utility costs and without disturbing you with an annoying operating noise.

Pros

  • Very quiet
  • Energy Star compliant
  • Adjustable Racks
  • Doesn’t require pre-rinsing

Cons

  • No flexible third rack like most Samsung dishwashers
  • No delicate glass rack
